We faced this a couple of years back in New Brunswick and we are just hoping it won't happen again. At the time we felt like we had been kicked in the gut after pouring our hearts and souls into our libraries; but most of all we were worried about the kids becuase we knew how much they loved to come to the libraries and nothing beats the thrill of having them get hooked on a book. I just hoped her job is safe. An effective library can actually save money because library staff can move resources around the school as teachers need them and keep track of them so the next teacher can use them. Good luck.

Lots of times surveyors will leave flagging on trees to mark boundary lines retraced. Sometimes the province will contract a retracement survey to local survey company to re-established or maintain county or township boundaries within the province.

I wouldn't be surprised, if more research were done, one would find the boundary stone or rock marking the intersection of townships or counties wasn't really lost but could be part of a new retracement survey ordered by the surveyor general of the province.
