The most annoying cliché strikes again
According to the Globe and Mail, the today's Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce is "not your grandmother's CIBC."
Considering that one of my grandmothers lived much of her life on a mountainside in Greece with no electricity, I'd say the headline writers are correct: it's not her CIBC.

I agree that it shows a real lack of creativity. Here's another one to add to your collection.
Walking through a Sears deparment store in December I came across a display of various CDs with a sign that said "Music for Mom and Dad".
Well, as a Dad myself, I fully expected to see the latest Devil Driver CD or at the very least something by Thin Lizzy or Alice Cooper.
Instead the rack was filled with Elvis Presley, Perrry Como and Frank Sinatra.
Technically, they were correct. This may indeed have been music for my Mom and Dad but they might want to think about addressing our generation. Or else they will always be know as... "your grandmother's Sears store".
