This one -- the opening of Blind Willie McTell -- sets a tone of Biblical prophecy. I want to know what "this land" is. Not the US, because it extends to Jerusalem. Probably all of modernity.

Actually there are a number of towns in the U.S. called Jerusalem. OH, MD,AL, UT and NC all have a town called Jerusalem.
Maybe someone should call Bobby on this to ask him what he meant.
